Broadway’s JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR raised $40,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS during the 2012 Easter Bonnet competition. They shared half of that amount, $20,000, with Actors Fund of Canada. The cast is pictured here with the “big check” (photo by Jay Brady). JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, which just received a Tony Award nomination for Best Musical Revival, is now playing at the Neil Simon Theatre, 250 West 52nd Street. Josh Young, who plays Judas Iscariot, also received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical and won a Theatre World Award.
