The show had a spectacular reception at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester last night as Andrew Lloyd Webber was welcomed to the stage with a rapturous applause and standing ovation during the curtain call.
We have had fantastic audiences throughout the tour and last night was no exception, we even had a Mexican wave!

My friend and I saw this production at the M.E.N in Manchester on Sunday. It was outstanding! Thank you soooooo much for a fantastic performance by all, absolutely took my breath away! The icing on the cake was when ALW walked on the stage, I was soo overcome with emotion. Thank you x
Went to last nights show at Manchester Arena wondering how the show would be staged and was blown away with e staging, the evening was fantastic and well done to everyone. One slight niggle, perhaps it is only at manchester but there was very bad feed back bouncing off the back walls of the arena which at times was almost unbearable! The show was fantastic and well worth the visit. KP
Saw the show in Manchester, Amazing, my hands are bruised with all the clapping. Everyone was brilliant but Tim Machin – WOW. Great to see Andrew Lloyd Webber at the end. Would love to see again & again
Just back from show performed at Motorpoint Arena Cardiff and it was AMAZING!!!!! I was mesmerised from start to finish, due to the awesome production, direction and cast. Everyone was superb, absolutely loved it and would see it 10 times over. I have always thought Tim Minchin to be an, intelligent, articulate artist, in this show he is BRILLIANT! – I am now a big fan!!!
Just come back from one of the best productions I have ever seen, J C Superstar at the MEN. The singing, visuals, sound lighting the 14,000 audience were superb, the TV chosen Jesus, Ben stopped the show with Gethsemane & Tim Minchen as Judas was a revelation. You could hear all of Tim Rices lyrics and to top it all the great Lord came on at the end, cannot believe its over 40yrs since he wrote the piece, still sounds so modern.
MEN Sunday night was amazing. Every cast member was outstanding, especially Ben Forster and Tim Minchin, but also liked the voice of Peter, would love to hear more from him. Loved every minute of it.

Saw Super Star last evening at Bham NIA Superb in everyway Brought up to date with modern settings and costumes that showed the story has meaning in many historical eras including today. My 14 year old granddaughter was as captivated as I was. The magic of the show and the spell binding performances enthralled a very appreciative audience. Thanks for reviving this show in such an imaginative way
The show was fantastic, I don’t know what else to say! The cast were all brilliant and I would just like them all to know that their hard work is so worth it and much appreciated, well done and thanks! Andrew appearing on stage at the end was the icing on the cake!
Jesus Christ Superstar was mind blowing last night at the Manchester Arena.
I wasn’t expecting so many spine tingling moments. Tim Minchin…..What can I say…stole the show as Judas and Chris Moyles was excellent too. It will take me a while to write a review on this one!! It was breathtaking!! Thank you.
Went to see show at the 02 Dublin (birthday weekend treat from the kids)
had goosebumps all throughout and my teenagers were fed up with me raving about the original show in the 70′s – and they are now raving about this one – ALW well done and Tim Minchin stole the show for me but all the cast were brilliant – go Chris Moyles
Went to see the show at Sheffield Motorpoint Area, it was excellent from begining to end. Tim Minchin stole the show. The cast were brilliant so was Chris Moyes. Also Ben Forster excellent casting as Jesus. Just waiting for the DVD.
Saw the show 1st time round..1976ish..saw it again October 20th..2012….still the amazing songs go around in my head….the show has matured like a fine wine…many thankyous to all…wonderful and well done!!!
